Shipping Information
At Egg Back Home, all orders are carefully packed and shipped from our studio in Portugal. We work with trusted shipping partners and do our best to ensure your order arrives safely and on time.
How we pack your order
Each piece is hand-packed using recycled, plastic-free materials. Fragile ceramics are individually wrapped and cushioned so they travel safely — wherever in the world they're going. We take this part seriously.
Processing Times
Most orders are prepared and shipped within 2 to 5 business days. During high-demand periods or special launches, handling times may be slightly longer. If any item requires additional production time, we'll contact you with an estimated date.

Delivery times may vary due to customs delays, weather, or local holidays. Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking number by email. Need it by a specific date? Contact us before ordering.
Customs & Import Duties
International orders (outside the EU) may be subject to customs duties and import taxes. These fees are not included in the price and are the responsibility of the customer.
We recommend checking your country's import regulations before placing an order — use this calculator to estimate duties and taxes for your destination.
If a parcel is returned to us because customs were refused or the order was not collected, the actual costs incurred (return shipping and any customs fees paid by Egg Back Home) will be deducted from the refund.
Returned Parcels
If a parcel is returned due to an incorrect address, refused delivery, or failure to collect within the carrier's timeframe — new shipping costs will apply for re-sending. If a refund is requested instead, the original shipping cost will be deducted from the refund amount.
Damaged Deliveries
In rare cases, breakage may occur in transit. If you receive a damaged item, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item, the shipping box, and all packaging.
